I want to be where there is only happiness, no sorrows, no pain. A place where there is no crimes and everyone leads a sinless life. Well, actually there is no such place that exist in our World. Oh, there is one place... Heaven. Okay, back to reality.
I want to to be in a place where I can be close to nature. Wished that I could a country girl. Just imagine...
Somewhere in the distance, the crowing of a rooster drilled through the fluid stillness of morning. I looked out of the window and saw shaft of sunlight flooding in from the window, exposing tiny particles of dust dancing in its wake. I get out of bed, feeling fresh and awake. This is what I wished every morning to be. Followed by a delicious breakfast. Then attend school.
In the afternoon, tiny puffs of clouds floating in the bright sky, as I take care of all the farm animals. I would also play on the little hills near my home and farm. This is how I would like to spend my afternoon.
The sun slowly set as the few thin strips of clouds on the horizon turned shimmering gold. My family and I would be having our dinner at this time.
The last rays of the sun set over the horizon as we gather around the living room to watch television.
As night time approaches, I would lie on a recliner in the garden to admire the clear night, lit with the shattered brilliance of a million stars.
The End.Review: Can't believe I wished to be country girl 4 years ago! What was I thinking at that time?? My imagination did ran wild. Spending my afternoon taking care of farm animals and playing on little hills? Sounds nice actually, but it would surely bore me after some time. Well, I still love shopping. Haha. In fact, I love the city too much to be a country girl. A holiday at the countryside in Australia would be fabulous though. But I totally agree on the last part, where I mentioned about looking at the night sky. Anyway, Singapore's street lights made star gazing so difficult. Summing up, I was being too naive/simple-minded at that time.Note to self:-Remember to change fish tank filter wool.
